BEWARE !! Iveco Daily Aftermarket Parts Melbourne & Brisbane…Fake Iveco Parts

Beware!! There are aftermarket market parts being sold in Victoria and Queensland, that have caused problems to several Iveco daily vans. It has been reported that parts have been imported from China and sold at a cheaper rate than genuine parts. They are selling Iveco daily engine for $8000 odd dollars, which sounds cheap, but how cheap is it, when you only just make it to your first service and then have to start looking for another engine.
Buyer beware of where you buy your Iveco parts from as you may not be quite buying what you think you are. Ask yourself this question. Can you buy an aftermarket Iveco Daily? Then why would you buy aftermarket parts for one.
You can identify the aftermarket ads because they mention things like:
• NEW CLUTCH ASSY JUST ARRIVED…
Where was it? Where did it arrive from?

• IVECO DAILY 2.8, TIMING BELT KITS WITH ALL PULLEYS,SEALS JUST ARRIVED
• Iveco Turbo daily, 2.8, Brand new diesel engine. Complete from fan to flywheel with all brand new components. Imported and local engines available.
Imported Engine? Where was it imported from? Ask for proof, to see that the engine is really from where they are saying it is from. Only buy if you are 100% sure that the engine has originally come from Italy, as they do not make Iveco Daily vans in China.

Just goes to show, you should always buy spare parts from the manufacturer or a dealer approved by the manufacturer. Cheap ‘rip-off’ parts can end up costing far more when they cause damage to vehicles.
